Summer Modules

Transitioning to Harvard
Students cross the bridge to the Harvard Athletics Complex during a nice summer day.

Over the summer, you’ll complete a series of required modules designed to support your transition to college life and thrive in Harvard's living and learning community.

These modules will introduce you to the challenging and life-changing Harvard academic experience, offer you strategies for engaging productively with your peers across difference, and help you to think both carefully and holistically about the safety and well-being of yourself and your friends.

Failure to complete these trainings may jeopardize your ability to register for courses. You should plan to engage with each of these modules when you have the time and space to give them your full attention. Please use a laptop or desktop computer–not your phone–to complete them.

This module will help you develop skills that are necessary to being a part of the Harvard College community, where living, learning, and collaborating with people with diverse perspectives is both enriching and rewarding.
