Rebecca Asare

Coordinator for Orientation & Family Engagement

Welcome to Harvard! My name is Rebecca Asare, and I am originally from The Bronx, New York. I moved to Massachusetts, specifically Medford and Somerville, to complete my bachelor's degree in education and sociology at Tufts University. During my time there, I was involved in various activities, including the Office of Campus Life, where I assisted in coordinating orientation for the Class of 2026.

After earning my bachelor's degree, I went on to complete my master's at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) in Education Leadership Organization and Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Higher Education. Simultaneously, I worked as a Graduate Assistant for Leadership Assessment in the Office of Student Engagement at Harvard College. Since then, I have transitioned to serving as the Coordinator for Orientation and Family Engagement, where I support the development of various programming for our students. I am so excited to welcome each incoming class along with families.

Outside of work, I love biking, trying new things, and traveling.
